An accomplished legal professional, Mr. Chawla began his academic journey at St. Xavier’s School, New Delhi, where he led the Leadership Training Services and Theatre Society. He graduated with honours in Philosophy and Political Science from St. Stephen’s College and pursued law at Delhi Law Faculty, where he formed the Moot Court Association. He later earned a Master’s in International Law from Georgetown University, USA.
Admitted to the Bar in 1994, he is now the Managing Partner at K. R. Chawla & Co., representing top clients like Northrop Grumman, Fluor Daniel, Singapore Airlines, and more. Mr. Chawla has worked on key infrastructure, banking, and privatization projects, including India's port privatization and the ABN-AMRO takeover of Bank of America’s retail arm. He’s been involved in advising on SEBI regulations, Euro issues, and India investment structuring.
He is also a member of several legal and business councils, including the International Bar Association and the Indo-US Business Council. Passionate about social causes, he supports senior citizens and serves as Honorary Director of a law diploma at St. Stephen’s College.
