About The BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry

BRICS took shape in September 2006 and it originally comprised Brazil, Russia, India, and China (BRIC). It was renamed BRICS after South Africa was accepted as a full member in September 2010. The group has expanded into a 10-nation alliance, welcoming Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran and the United Arab Emirates as new members in 2024, followed by Indonesia in 2025.

BRICS CCI Youth and AI Policy Lab: Case Study Challenge

At a time when Artificial Intelligence is rapidly redefining economies, governance, and social systems across the world, the BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BRICS CCI) organised the Youth & AI Policy Lab – Case Study Challenge 2026 at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi, placing youth-driven policy thinking at the heart of the global AI discourse. The event was held as an official pre-summit initiative to the forthcoming India AI Impact Summit 2026, one of the world’s leading forums on responsible and inclusive AI.

BRICS CCI Infracon 2025

n a decisive step to shape the future of urban development and infrastructure, the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRICS CCI)- Chandigarh Chapter organized its flagship forum, “InfraCon 2025” at Chandigarh. The high-level event gathered an eminent mix of policymakers, real estate leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs to deliberate on sustainable growth, cutting-edge technology, and financing models for large-scale infrastructure. Against the backdrop of India’s rapid urbanization and growing global competitiveness, the seminar offered a critical platform to share ideas, challenges, and strategies to reimagine infrastructure. Shri Aman Arora, Hon’ble Minister of Information & Public Relations, New & Renewable Energy Sources, and Housing & Urban Development, Government of Punjab graced the event as the esteemed Chief Guest. Shri Arora noted, “Future-ready infrastructure must combine ecological balance with modern technology. Punjab is committed to shaping urban growth that is green, inclusive, and innovation-driven. The BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRICS CCI) successfully hosted the BRICS CCI Healthcare Summit 2025, a landmark gathering convened under the leadership of Prann Sharma, President, BRICS CCI Healthcare Vertical and Executive Director-Strategy, BRICS CCI that underscored the growing global momentum towards blending traditional systems of medicine with modern healthcare practices.

BRICS CCI Youth Leadership Dialogue 2.0

The BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRICS CCI) announced the successful conclusion of the Young Leaders Summit 2.0 – Leadership Dialogue, held from August 4 to August 12, 2025. BRICS CCI WE Annual Summit & Felicitations 2025

BRICS CCI WE, the Women Empowerment vertical of the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry, hosted the 5th Annual Women’s Summit & Felicitations 2025 with the theme “Women Changemakers: Transforming the World, Shaping the Future.” The event honoured global icons including Dr. Kiran Bedi, Ms. Dia Mirza, and H.E. Ms. Bizunesh Meseret, among others. A commemorative book She for Her was unveiled, celebrating women leaders from across the globe. Keynote speeches were delivered by Smt. Rekha Gupta, Chief Minister of Delhi; Dr. Kiran Bedi; Smt. Smriti Irani; and Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi. Ms. Ruby Sinha, President of BRICS CCI WE, welcomed dignitaries and emphasized inclusive leadership.

The BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRICS CCI) successfully hosted the third edition of its flagship Startup Series 3.0 in New Delhi on February 21, 2025. The event brought together a vibrant mix of startups, investors, and experts from BRICS nations, fostering innovation, mentorship, and collaboration. Key highlights included dynamic startup pitch sessions across sectors like technology, healthcare, sustainability, and real estate. Nearly two-thirds of participating startups attracted investor interest, with potential funding approaching $2 million. The initiative underscored BRICS CCI’s continued commitment to nurturing entrepreneurship, enabling cross-border partnerships, and creating growth opportunities through a robust global startup ecosystem.

Education for All: Ensuring Equitable Access Through Digital Innovation

BRICS CCI’s Education Vertical convened a high-impact roundtable titled “From Chalkboards to Chatbots” in New Delhi on January 22, 2025, spotlighting the role of digital innovation in bridging educational divides. Policymakers, diplomats, and EdTech leaders explored how platforms like DIKSHA and SWAYAM, aligned with NEP 2020, are reshaping India’s learning landscape. With insights from EdCIL, Career Guide, TimesPro, and others, the dialogue underscored the power of collaboration in delivering inclusive, future-ready education. BRICS CCI reaffirmed its commitment to advancing equitable access and fostering tech-led learning ecosystems across BRICS+ nations.

BRICS CCI Cultural Soirée: A Wine, Cheese & Art Celebration

The BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRICS CCI) hosted an enchanting evening of cultural exchange and celebration at the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, Saket. The “BRICS CCI Cultural Soirée: A Wine, Cheese & Art Celebration” brought together an impressive gathering of distinguished diplomats, thought leaders, and cultural enthusiasts from BRICS+ nations and beyond, emphasizing the unifying power of cultural diplomacy in fostering stronger global partnerships. Themed “BRICS Cultural Tapestry: Weaving a Shared Heritage,” the event was a vibrant homage to the cultural diversity and shared traditions of BRICS+ nations. The highlight of the evening was a Guided Freehand Canvas Painting Workshop, where participants explored their artistic creativity by illustrating iconic elements from their countries’ traditional art forms, landmarks, and festivals. Facilitated by talented professional artists, this interactive workshop symbolized the collaborative spirit and unity that define the BRICS+ framework.
