The BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry and The Grappling Committee of India – North Zone signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Chandigarh. The MoU was formalized by Mr. Sameep Shastri, Vice Chairman of BRICS CCI, and Mr. Shubham Chaudhary, Chairman of the Grappling Committee of India – North Zone.

The Grappling Federation of India (GFI) is the national governing body for grappling sports in India, recognized by United World Wrestling (UWW). GFI works to develop the sport from grassroots to elite levels and is dedicated to upholding the values of the Olympic Movement. Their mission includes unifying and organizing associations and clubs to achieve excellence in grappling and ensure that athletes receive equal opportunities for government and Olympic events.

This collaboration marks a significant step in enhancing BRICS CCI’s engagement with the sports community.
