Empyreal Galaxy, a company into manufactures of lighter-than-air aircraft was founded in Jan 2020, with the vision of transforming human lives across the globe, by applying this technology to solve urgent societal issues. The founders have come together with the dream of improving the lives of billions of people globally by using modern airships. Airships that had already proved their mettle almost a century ago can make a strong comeback in a much safer and economical manner, thanks to the efficiencies that can be achieved by applying modern technologies of ML, AI, IoT and 3D printing. Advancements in modern materials and avionics give the further edge to developing a very sophisticated product that has diverse applications in the field of aerial surveillance, aerial surveys and geographical mapping, transport of cargo to remote areas, humanitarian relief post disasters, provision of low-cost affordable internet to remote regions and much more. Amidst mounting global challenges such as increasingly severe climate change, security threats and the covid pandemic since 2020, it is urgent to restart and accelerate the progress towards a society, that leaves no one behind. We want to use the technology of lighter-than-air systems to eradicate global poverty, enhance nation’s safety and economic prosperity, reduce global carbon footprint and drive sustainable growth and development in developing countries by removing constraints to effective trade, travel, security and connectivity.
