LAW AND ARBITRATION

The idea behind dispute resolution mechanism stems from challenges faced frequently by developing countries in existing international arbitration frameworks.

Arbitration facilities would offer both domestic and international arbitration and mediation services. The verticals objectives also include training, research and reform ideation in connection with Arbitration.

CSR

At the Centre for CSR, BRICS CCI, we aim to create a world of socially responsible corporate sectors and entrepreneurs who can understand various development issues of the country and find innovative solutions. ENVIRONMENT

India is currently experiencing a spurt in construction activities again after COVID-19 2.0. Highways, Over-bridges, under-passes, Malls, SEZs, and Housing Complexes are coming up in various parts of the country. This is putting strain on the environment and the ecology. Vast areas, which were under cultivation earlier, are turning into concrete jungles. The concept of environment-friendly or “green” buildings has not been picked up in the country.

BRICS CCI WE

As women make their mark globally as creators, innovators, leaders and game-changers, BRICS CCI WE, the women’s vertical of BRICS CCI has been created with a prime focus on women's empowerment and enterprise. Our endeavor is – to develop a supportive eco-system for women entrepreneurs and professionals across BRICS and other friendly nations in order to enable them to realize their full potential, which in turn will help in generating employment and grow the economy.

AEROSPACE & DEFENCE

The BRICS CCI (A&D, HS) team combines decades of defense-specific consulting experience and along with the expertise of former military, civil service and industry personnel; we provide comprehensive business, technical, manufacturing and project solutions to clients for the Ministry of Defense, Front Line Commands and the supply chain.

INDIRECT TAX

The Indirect Taxes Committee of BRICS CCI has been constituted, which covers Goods and Services Tax, Custom duty, Foreign Trade Policy, and Procedures. The main function of the Committee is to update industry and members of BRICS CCI, on indirect tax laws, rules, regulations, circulars, notifications, judicial pronouncements, etc, enacted or issued by the Government from time to time.

DIRECT TAX

The Direct Taxes Committee of BRICS CCI has been constituted, which covers Principles of Direct Tax, International Tax, and other related topics such as Benami Laws, Money Laundering, Inheritance Tax, etc. The main function of the Committee is to update industry and members of BRICS CCI, on direct tax laws, rules, regulations, circulars, notifications, judicial pronouncements, etc, enacted or issued by the Government from time to time.

INVESTMENT

The Investment Vertical of BRICS CCI has been created with a prime focus on Investment. In today’s scenario getting investment is not easy after the covid-19 pandemic, especially in cases of starting a new business in another country (BRICS Nations). Further, in many cases, the investors are not able to find good investment opportunities, especially in other countries (BRICS Nations).

ENERGY

Driving the agenda of all the BRICS nations forward, the BRICS CCI Vertical on Energy will primarily focus on Renewables and will be working closely with the Government of India to prioritize policy reforms, mobilize investment, boost manufacturing, and promote sustainable development goals to achieve the ambitious RE target. Over the past three years, sustained and proactive stakeholder engagement has led to significant progress

NRI CONNECT

Overseas Indians, officially known as Non- Resident Indians (NRI’s) or persons of Indian Origin (PIO’s) are people of Indian birth or ancestry who live outside the Republic of India. According to a Ministry of External Affairs report, there are 32 million NRIs and PIO’s residing outside India and overseas Indians comprise the world’s largest overseas Diaspora.
