Themed “BRICS Cultural Tapestry: Weaving a Shared Heritage,” the event was a vibrant homage to the cultural diversity and shared traditions of BRICS+ nations. The highlight of the evening was a Guided Freehand Canvas Painting Workshop, where participants explored their artistic creativity by illustrating iconic elements from their countries’ traditional art forms, landmarks, and festivals. Facilitated by talented professional artists, this interactive workshop symbolized the collaborative spirit and unity that define the BRICS+ framework.

BRICS CCI GST Conclave & Awards 2024
The BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry hosted the GST Conclave and Awards 2024, on October 04, 2024 at The Ashok, New Delhi, uniting senior government officials, industry leaders, and legal experts to discuss GST in India. The honorable Chief Guest, Mr. K.K. Jalan, IAS (Retd), Former Secretary to the Government of India, emphasized GST’s positive impact on business processes. CA Nidhi Goyal, President, Indirect Tax Vertical, BRICS CCI, delivered the Welcome Note, underscoring GST’s role in economic integration. Keynote speakers included Dr. Rajeev Ranjan, IAS (Retd), on “BRICS & GST: Driving Economic Integration,” and Mr. Tirumala Venkatesh Kaggundi, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, who addressed “BRICS Trade Integration.” Mr. Sahil Seth, Joint Commissioner, CBIC, offered special remarks on recent GST reforms. BRICS CCI Chandigarh Chapter Inauguration
The BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BRICS CCI) inaugurated its much- anticipated Chandigarh Chapter on September 27, 2024, in a grand ceremony that marked a significant milestone in fostering international collaboration and regional economic growth. This launch is set to strengthen the Chamber’s outreach and influence, establishing a platform for increased trade and investment between India and its BRICS partners, along with other friendly nations. With the addition of this chapter, BRICS CCI now operates 7 regional chapters within India and 6 international chapters, extending its global footprint.
Young Leaders Summit 2.0 – Leadership Dialogue
The BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRICS CCI) announced the successful conclusion of the Young Leaders Summit 2.0 – Leadership Dialogue, which took place from August 1st to August 12th, 2024. BRICS CCI Energy Partnership Forum 2.0

Round Table Discussion: “BRICS+ in Focus”
The BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BRICS CCI) announced the successful conclusion of the Round Table Discussion titled “BRICS+ in Focus,” organized in collaboration with the Study Association for Political Science Students at Leiden University (SPIL), Netherlands. This special session was part of a two-week educational visit by 35 Dutch and international students from Leiden University to Delhi and Jaipur. The students, enrolled in the political science program, were eager to understand the economic dynamics and international cooperation facilitated by the BRICS nations.

With the emphasis on Women-Led Development in India’s G-20 Presidency and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of fostering inclusivity and driving positive change, BRICS CCI WE, the Women Empowerment vertical of the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted its 4th Annual Summit and Felicitations 2024 on the theme-The Changing Narrative: Women Development to Women-led Development. BRICS CCI WE also unveiled a report, New Era of BRICS: Horizons in Tech and Business for Women Empowerment with special emphasis on the technology and entrepreneurship landscape for women across the BRICS countries. The vertical also hosted the Convocation of the first batch of women participants of the BRICS CCI WE Global Women Leadership Programme at the Summit.

The vibrant cultural canvas of Kolkata witnessed an unprecedented fusion of art, diplomacy, and cultural celebration as the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRICS CCI) orchestrated the grandeur of the Art Exhibition “Shilpo Sanjog: A Gathering of Colors” on February 28, 2024 in Kolkata, West Bengal. The exhibition unfolded with a mesmerizing display of diverse paintings, a visual symphony capturing the essence of Kolkata’s rich cultural heritage. Eminent artists like Prof. Biman B. Das, Mr. Tarun Maity, Mr. Jagabandhu Mondal, Ms. Swati Roy, Mr. Swapnendu Bhowmick, Ms. Swagata Bose, Mr. Subrata Ghosh, Mr. Rajib Sur Roy, Mr. Pradip Sengupta, Mr. Mrinal Kanti Dhali, Mr. Dipankar Roy and Ms. Aparna Rathee Ranjan showcased a spectrum of expressions, seamlessly blending traditional motifs with contemporary fervor.
BRICS CCI UAE CHAPTER LAUNCH
The BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry officially launched its UAE Chapter office in Dubai on February 17, 2024, following the expansion of BRICS membership to include the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran, and Ethiopia. The event was graced by Mr. Abdulla Al Hashmi, Chief Operating Officer, Parks & Zones, DP World, as a Chief Guest along with diplomats from various embassies.
